Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who manages all financial operations including accounting, credit and collection, internal audit, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax and SEC reporting.
Accounts Payable: Verifies invoices, authorizes and processes payments. Reconciles accounts payable ledgers to identify improper charges, validate transactions, and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due. Recommends changes in methods and procedures to improve efficiency. Ensures compliance with vendor related tax forms and filings such as W-9s, W-8s, and annual 1099s.
Accounts Receivable: Prepares, records, verifies, analyzes and reports accounts receivable transactions. Receives and posts customer payments on a timely basis. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports. Ensures that company receives accurate payment in a timely fashion. Performs collections of delinquent accounts by contacting customers. Resolves issues with incorrect billing amounts and purchase orders.
