Your Role & Mission
As an Anti-Financial Crime Analyst (L1), you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing potential suspicious activities across financial transactions. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining trust, transparency, and regulatory compliance in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and investigate alerts generated by AML and Transaction Monitoring systems.
- Assess transactions and customer behavior to determine whether activity is normal or suspicious.
- Prepare and send Requests for Information (RFIs) to clients or internal departments when clarification is needed.
- Identify red flags and document clear rationales for case closure or escalation.
- Conduct preliminary investigations and recommend complex cases for escalation to Level 2 analysts.
- Ensure daily compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with L2 and Compliance teams to resolve pending investigations.
What You Bring
- C1 level proficiency in French (certification required for
- native speakers). - Good command of English (B2 level), both written and spoken.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in the financial sector, preferably with exposure to KYC/AML processes.
- Previous experience in transactional monitoring or handling requests from authorities is a plus.
- An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a high sense of confidentiality and integrity.
Work Model & Schedule
- Location: Bucharest, Romania
- Working model:
- First 3 months fully onsite at our headquarters in Bucharest.
- Afterward, a hybrid model (3 days from office, 2 days from home).
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 7, 500 RON net/month + 350 RON monthly performance bonus (based on KPIs: Quantity | Quality | Complaints | Productivity).
