We are seeking an experienced Power BI Optimization & Administration Specialist responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Power BI solutions while ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable workspace management within the Power BI and Fabric environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and performance tuning, along with
- on experience in Power BI administration tasks, including workspace creation, access control, and capacity monitoring.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

To develop and optimize Power BI solutions, including: DAX: Create optimized measures and implement efficient time Query (M language): Perform advanced transformations, maintain query folding, and manage Modeling: Design star/snowflake schemas and implement aggregation strategies.

To administer Power BI Service: Create and manage roles, manage permissions, and grant access to users/groups. Monitor capacity and performance using the Fabric Capacity Metrics App.

To perform

- end performance tuning: Optimize queries and data dataset refresh times.

To analyze and improve DAX calculations and Power Query transformations for performance.

To implement best practices in data modeling (relationships, surrogate keys, aggregations).

To manage Power BI Gateways, Incremental Refresh, Aggregations, and Deployment Pipelines.

To troubleshoot and diagnose issues using Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, and Query Diagnostics.

To understand query folding, Mashup Engine, and dataflow refresh behavior.

To work with SQL Server / Azure SQL / Synapse for query optimization.

To utilize Azure services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure SQL) for data integration.

To apply strong

To use Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for database administration and query optimization.

To collaborate effectively in team environments and communicate clearly.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills using Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, and Query Diagnostics.

Good understanding of query folding, Mashup Engine, and dataflow refresh behavior.

Familiarity with Power BI REST APIs for automation and governance.

Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and its performance implications.

Exposure to the Power BI Admin Portal and capacity configuration.

Experience working with Power BI Premium or Fabric capacities

Capacity monitoring and performance analysis using the Fabric Capacity Metrics App.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Science with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or any related field)

Good interpersonal skills using English, both spoken and written, as will be working with overseas team

Microsoft Certifications (PL-, PL-, or Fabric-related) are a plus.
