Application/Cloud Architect

We are looking for a Application/Cloud Architect  to join the IT Tteam of our major client, a major European insitution.

Modality: Remote (EMEA)

Office location: ? Brussels

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS:

• Lead the architecture design of Service
Now solutions focused mainly on SPM/APM modules, ensuring alignment with best practices and European Commission objectives.

• Oversee the
-
- end implementation of SPM/APM modules, including Demand Management, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM), Enterprise Agile Planning, Application Portfolio Management, Resource Management, and Financial Planning.

• Work closely with Service
Now developers and platform administrators to ensure seamless integration and configuration.

• Provide guidance on Service
Now Common Service Data Model implementation.

• Design and implement integrations with other IT and business systems (e. g. , Git
Lab, Jira…) to ensure comprehensive data flow and synergy between SPM/APM and other applications.

• Customize and configure Service
Now to meet unique business requirements, ensuring optimal integration with other platform modules (such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog etc).

• Assist during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.

• Lead and conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and presentations to facilitate knowledge transfer and support organizational change.

• Participate in Service
Now Architecture board meetings.

• Production of software architecture documents.

EDUCATION:

• Level of education corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework which typically corresponds to a bachelor’s degree of 3 years.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Service
Now platform architecture, particularly within SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management), APM (Application Portfolio Management) and ITSM domains.

• Proficiency in Java
Script, XML, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Expertise in designing and implementing custom applications, data integrations, workflows, and complex reporting in Service
Now.

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience in iterative solution design and delivery (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban etc)

• Good knowledge of business process analysis.

• Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture).

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE:

• Proficiency in Java
Script, XML, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Extensive experience with workflow automation, data modeling, and customization within the Service
Now platform.

• Experience: 5+ years of Service
Now implementation experience, with at least 2 years focused on SPM/APM module implementations.

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS:

• Having Certified Service
Now System Administrator (CSA), and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in SPM/APM is a plus,

• If there is no certification, it must pass the CSA certification by the end of the contract, for considering a possible extension.
