Mission

Mission:

Your role is to estimate, define, and develop features for both new software and existing solutions on the AS400 platform. You will actively participate in the product development lifecycle, working within Agile or Waterfall methodologies to deliver robust and efficient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and implement applications using Cobol and CLP languages on the AS/400 platform.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

Maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure their performance, reliability, and security.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions and improve development processes.

Resolve technical issues and provide user support, ensuring that all problems are promptly and efficiently addressed.

Document processes, changes made to applications and technical solutions implemented.

Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to identify and implement innovative solutions.

Monitoring of job execution

Verification of the production and delivery of flows

Profile

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AS400 platform and projects developments using Cobol/CLP.

Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, especially DB2 for AS400

Knowledge of the MQ framework

Knowledge of the AS-400 scheduler

Knowledge of CQS and Leasing products (nice to have)

Problem-solving with the ability to handle technical issues.

You show ability to encourage communication and collaboration between team members to meet the objectives, ability to integrate in a local team as well as in a remote team

You have attention to detail and very good analytical skills

You speak Italian and English (oral and written) fluently
