
Back Office Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Back Office Manager to join our team at one of Romania's fastest growing online insurance brokers. The successful candidate should ideally have experience in this area or an equivalent role. The Back Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations regarding our admin staff, sales teams, and customer support staff. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and legally compliant running of the business and will play a key role in our continued growth as we aim to become one of Romania's largest online insurance brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our admin, sales, and customer support teams
- Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Analyze sales and operational data to optimize processes and reach KPIs
- Define and implement efficient internal workflows and procedures
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies in business operations
- Develop performance metrics and monitor team productivity
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners and key stakeholders
- Ensure customer support is professional, efficient, and always improving
- Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or similar)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar operational/management role, ideally in insurance or brokerage
- Proven track record reporting directly to executive leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good team management and communication skills
- Experience with inbound and outbound sales workflows
- Good understanding of Romanian insurance regulatory environment
- Fluency in both Romanian and English (written & spoken)
- Experience in fintech or a fully digital environment is a plus
