Reach device, the central piece of our Outdoor department, which connects to the Iridium satellite network, our customers can stay connected regardless of being in the middle of the ocean or over 5. 000 meters climbing the Himalayas. The in Reach SOS button saves 7 people each single day.
Subscriptions Team is responsible for building and enhancing web applications, APIs and services which are used across multiple Garmin segments. With the help of these applications, customers can easily create, manage, and process subscriptions and payments.
Garmin Alpha is our hunting and outdoor companion app that connects handhelds and LTE dog collars for real‑time tracking, safety, and team coordination in the field. It delivers fast, reliable mapping with rich layers, precise waypoints, and seamless device pairing, so hunters can plan, navigate, and make quick decisions together.
We are looking for 3 talented Business Analyst to work together with our experienced project teams.
From this role you will:
- Gather, document and communicate user requirements for medium to large size projects of average to significant complexity.
- Work closely with the project team, including product owner to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables are aligned with project objectives.
- Lead stakeholder management discussion to ensure alignment, get
- in or consensus. - Drive collaboration with other teams and departments.
We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a hybrid role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require at least 3 days in the office each week.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing user, functional and technical requirements for medium to large size projects of average to significant complexity for products across their strategic channel.
- Able to identify and contribute to the resolution of both basic and ancillary discrepancies and conflicts in application(s) requirements.
- Able to work closely with project team, including multiple stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables are aligned with
- term business objectives as well as project objectives. - Demonstrate proficient use and knowledge of engineering and project management tools
- Must demonstrate advanced understanding of business analysis principles/methodologies and possesses the ability to adapt practices to meet business climate and needs
- Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
- Demonstrate general knowledge and/or awareness of the following concepts: SQL Databases,
- server requests, HTTP Methods, APIs - Experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
- Consistent demonstration of quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
- Demonstrate a professional approach to situations in which conflict is present
- Bachelor in Computer Science, or another relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Experience with web/mobile based projects
