Requirements and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support compliance and
- focused data initiatives. This role requires strong SQL expertise, data warehousing knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, consistent, and reliable data that supports compliance, risk, and operational needs.
What you’ll do
- Partner with business, risk, and technology teams to gather and analyze data requirements;
- Develop and execute SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, validation, and reconciliation;
- Interpret and document data models, mappings, and transformation rules to ensure consistency;
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement;
- Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve them;
- Provide clear documentation, reporting, and updates to stakeholders and leadership;
- Contribute to the development of data governance, quality, and integrity processes.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in financial services or another regulated industry;
- Strong SQL skills for querying, profiling, and validating complex datasets;
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance;
- Demonstrated ability to work with compliance, risk, or
- related data; - Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality;
- Proven ability to collaborate
- functionally with both business and technology teams; - Excellent communication and documentation skills;
- Strong expertise in SQL for querying, data profiling, and validation across complex datasets;
- Deep understanding of Data Warehousing (DW) concepts, such as data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance;
- Hands-on experience supporting compliance, audit, or regulatory initiatives in a financial services environment;
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity;
- Proven ability to work
- functionally with business and technical teams; - Excellent communication and documentation skills with a focus on clarity and traceability;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a
- paced, regulated environment.
