We seek a dynamic and
- oriented Business Developer to join our commercial team in Bucharest, Romania, as a connecting link between customers and our mill, Arcelor
Mittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.  

You will be responsible for managing customers in Romania, acquiring new customers, negotiating prices, conducting market investigations, improving the supply share per customer, and supporting product development. Additionally, you will play a vital role in developing
-
- value (HAV) products and ensuring seamless communication between our customers and the mill.

Mittal Kryvyi Rih is Ukraine's largest integrated steel producer, located in Kryvyi Rih, central Ukraine. Established in 1934, it operates as a
- cycle steel plant encompassing iron ore mining, coke production, and steel manufacturing. Its production facilities are designed to produce over 6 million tons of steel, 5 million tons of rolled products, and 5. 5 million tons of pig iron annually. The company employs over 20, 000 people.

Specializing in long steel products such as rebar, wire rod, and square billets as well as sinter, concentrate, coke, pig iron, steel, and various rolled products, Arcelor
Mittal Kryvyi Rih serves both domestic and international markets.  

Responsibilities:

1. Managing account customers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and maximizing customer satisfaction.
2. Customer acquisition: Identify and target potential customers to expand the customer base and increase sales opportunities.
3. Price negotiation: Engage in negotiations with customers to establish favourable pricing agreements while maintaining profitability for the company.
4. Market investigation: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer demands, and competitors' activities, providing valuable insights for strategic
   - making.
5. Improve supply share per customer: Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations and increase the company's market share within each customer account.
6. Develop HAV products: Work closely with the product development team to identify opportunities for
   -
   - value products and contribute to their development.
7. Support on product development: Provide input and feedback on product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market requirements.

Education and Experience: 

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in economics, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively,
   - term experience in the steel industry will be considered.
2. Willingness to travel: Ability to travel, approximately 35-50% of the time.
3. Industry Knowledge: The candidate should possess a good understanding of the steel industry's product portfolio, market dynamics, competitors, customers, applications, production processes, and supply chain. Familiarity with supply chain operations, competitor activities, and the automotive sector will be appreciated.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Romanian are a must. Knowledge of other regional languages would be an advantage.

9. Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license for business travel purposes.
