Job Description
How you will make an impact?
We are seeking a highly skilled, communicative and structured Business Process Consultant to oversee and continuously improve MMS DC, METRO’s global solution to support business-critical warehouse operations in six Metro countries, including goods management in distribution centers and the goods flow between logistics service providers (LSPs), warehouses, and stores. This solution is developed and supported by our external service provider.
As a Business Process Consultant, you will bridge business and technology: the role combines service ownership, incident management, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes. You will work closely with METRO AG, local country teams, external development partners, and other team members to guarantee stable services, transparent governance, and a seamless supply chain experience.
In the current lifecycle situation for MMS DC, which is planned to be replaced
- term, your job will also include to design and plan the move from MMS DC to future solutions, which are still in concept stage, and support the business process switch, including technical understanding of the underlying solutions and supporting this move from business and technical perspective.
At the same time, the solution is currently still being rolled out to additional countries, replacing locally developed solutions.
