Job Description

• Procurement of specific material groups (Production Equipment components) for different locations / business areas within AUMOVIO in DACH region including tendering and order processing;
• Match the demand with the strategy together with the category responsible and define the right supplier panel along with the internal customers;
• Support the definition, implementation and adaptation of global and regional sourcing strategies;
• Evaluation of bids from different aspects, preparation of bid comparisons, cost and price analysis and preparation of the necessary documents for the award decision including auditable documentation of the relevant contract and sourcing documents;
• Individual completion of negotiations and preparation of contract documents;
• Identification and communication of contractual risks to the various internal interfaces;
• Support for risk controlling tasks for existing and potential new suppliers;
• Establish and maintain the relationship with the relevant suppliers;
• Business analysis to improve Category specific KPIs (e. g. automation rate);
• Interface between various internal functions and the supplier;
• Interdisciplinary work in an international business environment.

• Academic degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or comparable;
• Several years of experience in Purchasing;
• Good knowledge of SAP R / 3 and MS Office programs;
• German and English - business fluent;
• Independent, structured and analytical way of working;
• Several years of experience in the automotive industry desirable;
• Assertiveness, team spirit and drive, flexibility;
• Confident manner;
• Intercultural competences and first experiences in an international business environment;
• Willingness to travel.
