The Commercial Contract Manager (CCM) performs a key role within the Global Procurement function and is primarily responsible for managing the contracts and relationships with several of DB’s suppliers. The role includes building positive, collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal DB stakeholders, managing
- related risk, and ensuring maximum value is extracted from supplier engagements.

The Commercial Contract Manager (CCM) is accountable for the commercial and contract management activities for several of the bank’s key suppliers. They will manage the contracts for the suppliers assigned to them, manage and resolve disputes and execute contract change requests together with the bank’s Legal function. The CCM is a key interface between the bank and a supplier and provides a focal point for the management of that supplier. The CCM works closely together with Service Owners (SOs), Division Vendor Management Offices (DVMOs) and other DB stakeholders to enable end
- end management of the contract lifecycle. They are responsible for implementing an appropriate governance structure to manage all aspects of the contract, the supplier’s performance and the contractual relationship. They will work with the business stakeholders to minimize risks, promote sustainable outcomes, reduce costs and protect the value of the contract.
