Make Your Mark:
The Legal Contracts Manager will serve on the Contracts Services team and will work in a
- functional environment to successfully negotiate and manage assigned business contracts including but not limited to Saa
S Master Subscription Agreements, Order Forms, SOWs, Partnership Agreements, NDAs and other contractual documents as necessary for the licensing of Black
Line's products and services.
You'll Get To:
The Role:
- Broad responsibility for commercial legal support across EMEA, with particular focus on the UK, France, Germany and Spain.
- Draft, redline and revise Black
Line or third party agreements related to the licensing of Black
Line’s hosted services (license agreements,
- disclosure agreements, data processing agreements, channel partner agreements). - Review, redline and assist the Procurement in the negotiation of vendor agreements.
- Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to support the contract negotiation and close process.
- Advise internal stakeholders on commercial legal matters.
- Provide training and enablement to the Sales organization.

- driven paired with a keen sense of client focus. - Outstanding communication (verbal/written) skills, both at an interpersonal level and with broader audiences.
- Ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines in a
- paced environment, prioritize workflow and adjust to frequent workload fluctuations. - Ability to identify, establish and maintain productive partnerships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ability to navigate easily in a
- cultural environment.
Requirements:
- Law degree from accredited law school in Europe or the United States.
- Fluency (including ability to negotiate and draft) in English & French. Additional language capabilities in German or Spanish a strong plus.
- Significant commercial experience in a customer facing capacity.
- A least five years of experience negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements in the software industry as a member of the legal department at a
- national company (ideally US-headquartered). - Strong working knowledge of data privacy regulations as applied to the Saa
S industry.
- The Role will be based in one of Black
Line’s offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt or Bucharest.
