Accelerate YOU at Brillio!!We are seeking a Network Specialist to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure for a major reinsurance client. This role requires a strong foundation in networking principles, adaptability across technologies, and the ability to work in a dynamic, global environment. The role is fully remote, anywhere in Romania.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network solutions.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

Collaborate with
- functional teams including security, cloud, and infrastructure.

Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives.

Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.

Ensure compliance with
- specific security and regulatory standards.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or support roles.

Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc. ).

Experience with network hardware (e. g. , Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, etc. ).

Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e. g. , Solar
Winds, Wireshark).

Ability to work with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Relevant certifications (e. g. , CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Comp
TIA Network+) - nice to have.

Experience in regulated industries such as finance or insurance - nice to have.

Exposure to SD-WAN, network automation, or
- defined networking (SDN) - nice to have.
