About the Company

Our client is a major Chinese Solar Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with a global reputation for innovation, quality, and market leadership in photovoltaic solutions. With a product portfolio serving residential, industrial & commercial (I&C), and
- scale applications, they are expanding their presence across Europe and seeking to appoint a senior leader to drive their growth in Romania.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Country Manager to establish and lead the company’s Romanian operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing market strategy, building strategic partnerships, securing key contracts, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across all major solar PV market segments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s Romanian market entry and growth strategy.

Build and manage relationships with distributors, EPC contractors, developers, and utility partners.

Lead commercial negotiations and secure major sales contracts across residential, I&C, and utility sectors.

Manage local operations, ensuring compliance with Romanian regulations and corporate policies.

Monitor market trends, policy developments, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

Act as the primary representative of the company in Romania, fostering a strong brand presence and stakeholder trust.

Key Requirements

Proven track record in solar PV across residential, I&C, and utility markets in Romania or the wider Eastern European region.

Strong commercial and operational leadership experience.

Established network of contacts within the Romanian renewable energy industry.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and business development skills.

Fluency in Romanian and English; Mandarin language skills an advantage.

Remuneration

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
