Job Title: Credit and Collection Specialist (m/f/d)

Location: Krakow-Poland OR Brasov-Romania (in-Office)

Job Type: Full-time

Important: this position is a Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months) with a possibility of permanent extension.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Credit and Collection Specialist (German speaking) to join our EMEA Region Credit and Collection Team. As a key member of our team, will be responsible for managing customer credit limits, ensuring timely payments, and resolving any disputes or issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

Manage customer credit limits and ensure compliance with company policies

Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes

Conduct credit checks and analyze customer creditworthiness

Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Order Management, and Cash Application) to ensure seamless order processing and payment collection

Maintain accurate records and reports on customer credit and payment history

Identify and mitigate potential credit risk

Requirements:

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in credit management or collections.

Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Software:** Proficiency in credit management software and Microsoft Office. Experience with Oracle and Salesforce is a plus.

Languages Mandatory/Required: German and English (fluency in both languages is mandatory since you will be working with customers from Germany.

Additional Languages: Nice to have (, Japanese, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, etc. )
