Customer Services and Collections Manager with German
We are looking for a professional to take on the role of Customer Services and Collections Manager for a top company in the automotive sector. The position is based in Bucharest and supports operations in Germany, with responsibility for customer service, collections management, and leading a growing team. ︌︅︆︆︅︃︆︂︆︄︃︁︁︎︌︈︂︇︍︈︆︅︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎
Responsibilities
• Define and implement departmental strategies to achieve performance and quality objectives;
• Monitor and manage performance against SLAs and KPIs;
• Oversee customer service and collections processes for German clients;
• Identify portfolio risks and reduce credit losses;
• Lead improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and compliance;
• Develop, coach, and motivate team members, building strong future leaders;
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations;
• Foster a culture of engagement, diversity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
• MBA or degree in Business Administration (banking/finance background is a plus);
• Solid experience in collections (preferably in automotive finance or banking);
• Proven leadership and team development skills;
• Strong understanding of the automotive finance or banking landscape in Germany;
• Previous customer service experience – advantage;
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is essential.
