CEVA Logistics is looking for a candidate for the position of:

Customs Broker (Declarant)

Job location: Bucharest – Otopeni Airport

Purpose of the role:

• Process customs documentation required for customs procedures according to client requirements
• Provide the necessary administration related activities
• Maintains knowledge of all applicable customs laws, tariffs, and regulations
• Ensures that all shipments comply with customs laws and regulations
• Communicate with the client, customs administration and shipping companies to ensure smooth handling of shipments, including participation in customs procedures
• Works closely with other customs staff at other company sites and with other company departments

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years as a customs broker (declarant)
• Secondary education with a high school diploma
• Knowledge of English language is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of customs regulations
• Knowledge of economic procedures and customs warehousing is an advantage, as well as knowledge of preferential/non-preferential trade
• General PC skills (Microsoft Office)
• Diligence, responsibility, independence, proactive approach, teamwork
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• B category driving licence - active driver
