Requirements and responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to serve as the EDG (Enterprise Data Governance) Steward focused on Data Quality (DQ) and Data Governance (DG). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across the organization, as well as supporting data governance initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and assess data quality metrics to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Collaborate with data stewards and business units to establish data governance standards and practices.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
- Document data sources, data lineage, and metadata to support data governance efforts.
- Provide training and support to staff on data quality and governance best practices.
- Assist in the development of data quality and governance frameworks and policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data governance and quality.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis and understanding of data governance principles.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data profiling tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other preferred skills
- Familiarity with data quality and governance tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and data management practices.
- Understanding of data lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.
