AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analytics / Power Apps / M365 Developer. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and will be in one of our Enterprise Capabilities Centers in South Africa.

The successful candidate will be joining the Data and Analytics team within the Europe region. You will report directly to the Data and Analytics team lead and assist with developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Your primary focus will be building Canvas Power Apps and Power
BI reports according to defined standards, working together with Power Platform Lead to demonstrate the art of the possible and elevate the adoption of Power Platform solutions.
To ensure success as the Power Apps Developer, you should have a strong working knowledge of Power Platform and all the related elements including Canvas Power Apps, Model-Driven Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Portals and Microsoft 365 services.
Responsibilities
We are looking for ambitious,
- motivated Power Apps Developer to work on a variety of tasks and projects. The successful candidate shall be able to work in a team and independently without losing initiative & focus. Areas of work include:
- Build Canvas Power Apps and Model-Driven Power Apps to meet requirements of clients and business
- Design & implement Dataverse databases within the Power Platform
- Build data models harnessing Power
BI with insightful visualization layer on top - Support team and organisation in growing capability with Power Platform
- Identify and solve business problems with the Power Platform and low code / no code solutioning
- Utilize
- solving skills to understand and troubleshoot established Power Platform solutions as challenges arise - Support and work together with wider digital organisation such as Data Analysts and Data Scientists to provide holistic digital solutions
- Collect and evaluate requirements from users, and stakeholders for solution development
- Illustrate delivery cadence through regular engagement with end stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Work with our UX Designer and Power Platform Lead to ensure best in class solution development
- Design solutions both independently and with UX Designer
- Be able to provide estimates for pipeline work
- Build Flows & Robotic Process Automations (RPA) within Power Automate
- Build chatbots using Power Virtual Agent
- Build
- facing portals using Power Portals - Incorporating feedback into your development process
- Testing work against the requirements and acceptance criteria

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and (or) Microsoft accreditation
- 3+ years’ experience in industry
- Detail orientated, demonstrate
- active approach - Strong communication skills both spoken & written
- Strong time management skills
- Comfortable in a client facing and consulting environment
- Hands on experience delivering with the Microsoft M365 & Power Platform
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Experience in designing & developing Canvas Power Apps and Model-Driven Power Apps
- Ability to reverse engineer existing Power Platform solutions
- Experience in structuring Power
BI data models, building reports and dashboard - Experience in building workflows, processes, and approvals using Power Automate
- Ability to conduct work remotely
- Experience working with different types of API including OAuth
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A portfolio & history of previous Power Platform/web development work
- Exposure to Azure services
- Experience and of basic coding languages including Python, C#, HTML5, and Java
