Salary: 6. 000 - 10. 000 RON net per month

• Minimum 2 years of experience with a relational database system (SQL Server, PostgreSQL);
• Strong SQL knowledge and proven experience in query performance optimization and handling large databases;
• Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and normalization principles;
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes and automation of database tasks (e. g. , SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalents);
• Hands-on experience with data processing and transformation from multiple sources (CSV, JSON, APIs, relational databases, flat files, etc. );
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts is a plus;
• Experience with version control and deployment tools (Git, SVN);
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a strong plus;
• High attention to detail to ensure data integrity and consistency;

• Load, validate, and process data from internal and external sources into databases on a regular basis;
• Optimize query performance and database storage/processing mechanisms;
• Build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT);
• Implement and manage data integration and migration processes across different systems;
• Automate recurring data-related tasks using scripts and dedicated tools;
• Integrate databases with internal applications and analytical systems;
• Collaborate with software development and analysis teams to deliver clean, structured, and high-performance data;
• Create and maintain documentation for developed mechanisms, database changes, and issue resolutions;
• Ensure data security and governance across managed process.

We are looking for a (MS SQL) Database Developer to join our colleagues in KRUK Tech, the IT company within the KRUK Group. KRUK Tech’s business is software development and it offers IT services for the companies in the Group, collaborating closely with KRUK Romania, as well as with colleagues from the other countries in the Group.



Location: anywhere in Romania, 100% remote.
