Responsibilities:

The Database Administrator (DBA), also known as the Database Engineer, plays an essential role in the management, maintenance, and security of database management systems. Here is a detailed overview of this position:

1. Database design:

• Work with the information system architect to establish database standards and good practices.

• Make database implementation decisions according to project specifications.

• Define the optimal settings for databases.

• Model the base and design tables and keys.

2. Administration and maintenance of databases:

• Create databases and implement them on physical media.

• Size servers for optimal performance.

• Ensuring data availability and quality by optimizing performance and functionality.

• Manage access permissions for users and ensure data security.

• Perform version migrations and update programs.

• Recommend
- ups to ensure data integrity.

Candidate Profile:

Professional experience and skills required:

• Excellent knowledge of the global information system and IS architecture.

• Strong technical skills in systems and networks.

• Proficiency with databases such as Oracle, My
SQL, Postgre
SQL, Maria
DB, and Mongo
DB.

• Fluent in the SQL query language.
