Demo Engineer
The role
We’re looking for two technically skilled Demo & Po
C Developers to join the team in Cluj-Napoca.
In this role, you will:
- Build

- ready demos for Presales use. - Develop and maintain Proof of Concepts (Po
Cs) for prospective customers. - Join selected customer meetings to understand requirements, gather feedback, and track Po
C progress. - Work closely with Presales Engineers to ensure every deliverable is accurate, functional, and tailored to the client’s needs.
You will not be required to present to customers or lead meetings, but you will have occasional direct involvement to ensure technical alignment and successful outcomes.

Cs according to requirements. - Configure conversation flows, intents, NLU/NLP logic, agent behaviours, and backend integrations.
- Integrate APIs and manage dynamic data to simulate realistic customer scenarios.
- Configure voice and digital channels for a smooth experience in live environments.
Customer Interaction (Light)
- Attend selected customer meetings with Presales to collect technical requirements and Po
C feedback. - Document feedback and ensure Po
Cs are updated accordingly. - Provide progress updates on Po
C development to internal stakeholders.
Quality & Delivery
- Ensure all demos and Po
Cs are visually polished, technically robust, and ready for live use. - Optimise UX for clarity, impact, and alignment with industry best practices.
- Maintain reusable assets for faster turnaround on future projects.
Requirements
Essential
- 2–4 years’ experience with conversational AI or automation platforms (e. g. , Kore. ai, Genesys Dialog Engine, NICE Enlighten, Azure Bot Framework, Twilio Flex, Boost. ai, IBM Watson, Cognigy, Druidai etc. ).
- Understanding of conversational design, entities, intents, and NLU/NLP basics, Prompt Engineering.
- API integration skills and experience handling JSON.
- Advanced scripting knowledge (Java
Script, Python, or similar). - Strong attention to detail in both technical execution and UX.
- Comfortable joining customer calls for requirement gathering and progress discussions (no presenting required).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Desirable
- Experience with CCaa
S platforms (e. g. , NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud, Five9 etc. ). - Familiarity with telephony setup, STT (speech-to-text), and TTS (text-to-speech).
- Industry-specific conversational AI build experience (banking, insurance, hospitality, etc. ).
- Understanding of agent assist and AI-augmented contact centre tools.
