Client Description:

Adecco Romania is recruiting for its client, a major player in the road and highway construction sector, a Design Engineer, for Bucharest.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Meetings: Attend and actively participate in all phases of technical project meetings, whether on Bucharest or on site.

• Documentation Analysis: Analyze design details and technical documentation necessary for construction works.

• Construction Planning: Develop comprehensive construction stages/order and prepare project plans for the construction processes.

• Implementation Oversight: Study and ensure the proper implementation of construction stages and ordering of them, including site visits as necessary.

• Work Supervision: Supervise the progress of work from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.

• Execution Monitoring: Plan, organize, and monitor project execution to ensure compliance with project drawings, established plans, deadlines, and quality standards.

• Contractor Support: Provide ongoing assistance to contractors and relay critical information to the Project Manager.

• Client Relations: Maintain relationships with clients throughout the project and ensure they are provided with the necessary technical information.

• Reporting Issues: Report any irregularities and/or requests for project modifications to the hierarchical superior and site administrator. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for the design works.

• Site Availability: Be available to stay on site temporarily if required.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering.

• Proficiency in Auto
CAD MS Office softwares.

• Experience with at least one structural analysis program.

• Ability to design concrete structures including culverts, bridges etc. and to check the all design work of concrete structures.

• Eagerness to learn and to be successful.

• Ability to set up and conduct good communication within the team and all other parties related to the work.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively,

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure all reports and submissions are accurate and complete.

• Holding driving license at least B class.
