These ‘Control Centre Solutions’ are developed and distributed by Frequentis in the business segments Air Traffic Management (civil and military air traffic control, aeronautical information management, air defence) and Public Safety & Transport (police, fire and rescue services, emergency medical services, vessel traffic and railways). In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 200+ colleagues and is growing. You will work on a microservices based framework Mosai
X utilized across the company to run and integrate multiple Frequentis Air Traffic Management products. You will develop reusable services, software packages and libraries to be used by other teams in the company. The platform runs on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, handles the deployment and configuration of the OS and supports the configuration and orchestration of containerized services. You will contribute to continuously modernize and evolve our deployment and configuration automation solution, to keep up with state of the art technologies and methodologies. We are developing for a
- critical environment, following industry standards, where high availability and redundancy are basic requirements. Key Tasks

Integrate open source third party services onto the Mosai
X Platform (i. e. Redhat Identity Management, Cassandra, Zabbix, Postgres, Etcd, Rabbit
MQ, Keycloak, Open
Search, and more).

As a power user and maintainer of 3rd party services, continuously measure and improve the performance to enable scaling the whole system to serve large air traffic control centers with hundreds of operator positions.

Design, implement and maintain automation solutions for deployment, configuration and verification of the Mosai
X infrastructure and auxiliary layers.

Continuously extend, improve and integrate components using CI/CD best practices and Ia
C (Infrastructure as Code), to implement lifecycle updates and security fixes on a regular basis.

Support product development teams migrating their applications to the Mosai
X platform, ensuring alignment with the intended platform design and principles.

Key Qualifications

Deep knowledge of Linux and container technologies (Docker)

Hands-on experience with Ansible (Puppet experience is a plus)

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash and/or experience in building software solutions using other programming languages

Experience in software engineering practices like

- development (TDD) to ensure
- quality software

IP networking

Practical experience with CI/CD, and automation to improve efficiency in

Familiar with
