We are the technology company that builds and manages the digital platforms of Newpharma, one of the largest and most efficient networks of online pharmacies in Europe. We have offices in Timisoara and Cluj, and colleagues who work remotely from all over Romania.

Our Devops team is increasing, again. Therefore, we are looking for a colleague and an experienced DevOps/SysAdmin.

So who are WE?

• WE are a team of 6 DevOps, ready to help and support each other, eager to learn and implement new technologies
• WE have a central role in the IT ecosystem, working closely with the Belgium IT Support team and the Romanian developers and testers
• WE “speak” on daily basis Debian, MariaDB, Jenkins, PHP, Apache, Redis, Airflow, RabbitMQ, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK (just to name a few)
• WE manage mainly on-prem infrastructures (production, staging, dev), but also working a lot with Azure (Synapse Analytics, DataBricks, VMs)
• WE design the Servers architecture and the LAMP stack/tools. We decide the technologies to be used according with the company needs & requests.
• WE put Security as top priority

About YOU:

• YOU are an experienced DevOps/SysAdmin, with very good knowledge of Linux, networking protocols, DNS & mail, able to build from scratch any new environment (physical, virtual or in cloud), experienced with the CI/CD process
• YOU can setup a Web server using specific services (Apache, Nginx, Redis, MySQL)
• YOU enjoy scripting, having an automation mindset, able to build, run and maintain Ansible playbooks
• YOU previously worked at least with one of these DB flavors: MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. You know how to install and configure a DB server, able to run queries on a daily basis. Ideally you built and maintained Multi-Master clusters and replicas, you optimized performance.
• YOU are familiar with Jenkins and CI/CD, creating and managing pipelines
• YOU worked with virtual machines and containers. VMWare and/or Proxmox experience is highly appreciated
• Ideally, YOU are already “speaking” Kubernetes. But in the old-fashion way, built on-prem.

Yes, you can work remotely whenever you feel you need some extra time to focus. But we welcome you to work also from our cozy office near Timisoara Universities.
