
E-commerce Data Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a results-oriented Data Analyst to join our Digital Team. This role is key to driving smarter, data-backed decisions across our digital efforts, including eCommerce and digital marketing. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various platforms such as eMAG Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics, Google Ads, and our internal eCommerce systems. A crucial part of this role is designing and maintaining a clear reporting structure that supports both the eCommerce Manager and the Performance Marketing Manager in making high-impact decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data from multiple digital platforms (eMAG Ads, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, eCommerce backend) to uncover actionable insights
- Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports that track key KPIs across campaigns, product sales, customer journeys, and digital funnels
- Provide tailored reporting and recommendations to the eCommerce Manager and Performance Marketing Manager
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform digital strategy and performance optimizations
- Develop attribution models and conversion tracking to better understand user behavior and campaign ROI
- Collaborate closely with marketing, eCommerce, and content teams to align business goals with data-driven decisions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all analytics tools and sources
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and executive summaries
- Support A/B testing initiatives by analyzing results and determining statistical significance
- Proactively identify new data opportunities and build tools that enhance business intelligence
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a data analyst or digital analytics role
- Strong proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other digital marketing platforms
- Understanding of Digital Marketing & eCommerce KPIs, Funnels and Customer Journey
- Experience with eCommerce analytics and performance tracking
- Excellent skills in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools (e. g. , Data Studio, Looker, Power BI)
- Ability to translate raw data into actionable business insights
- Structured, analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English and Romanian
Nice to Have
- Experience with eMAG Ads or marketplace performance tools
- Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, or other eCommerce platforms
- Knowledge of SQL, BigQuery, or data querying tools
- Basic understanding of performance marketing strategies (CPC, ROAS, CPA, etc. )
- Experience working with BI tools or integrating marketing data from multiple sources
