We are looking for an Education & Communications Specialist to join our EIT Community Girls Go Circular team. This role is perfect for someone who can combine strategic communications and brand building with creative event planning - helping us bring our online learning content to life for students and teachers across Europe.
About Girls Go Circular
Girls Go Circular is an EIT Community education programme led by EIT Raw
Materials, equipping sschoolgirls (14–19 years old) with digital, entrepreneurial and green skills through an online
- based learning platform and hands-on activities such as hackathons, competitions, and school projects. With more than 140, 000 registered users and over 90, 000 young learners already empowered, the programme is now expanding further under the Union of Skills.
We are looking for a creative professional to help us scale the impact of Girls Go Circular by building its brand, telling its stories, and engaging students and teachers in inspiring ways.
Your key responsibilities
Communications & Storytelling
- Lead the narrative of Girls Go Circular, crafting engaging stories and campaigns that resonate with young people and teachers.
- Translate impact into compelling content (videos, articles, social media, toolkits).
- Manage and coordinate external communications agencies to deliver
- quality campaigns
Brand Building & Marketing
- Strengthen the Girls Go Circular brand across Europe.
- Design and execute strategic marketing initiatives (campaigns, newsletters, partnerships) to expand reach and visibility
Creative Learning Integration
- Develop new ways to combine existing online modules with live or digital activities to make learning more engaging.
- Experiment with creative formats such as competitions, gamified challenges, or blended events.
Event Design & Coordination
- Plan and deliver both online and
- person events (hackathons, teacher training, student competitions,
- building sessions). - Work with schools, educators, and partners to ensure events are inclusive, impactful, and memorable.
- Support growth of the programme’s community through targeted outreach and engagement activities.
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or education engagement (experience in
- focused initiatives is a plus). - Proven ability to design and deliver communications campaigns (with or without agencies).
- Strong storytelling skills, with experience in content creation (written, visual, or video).
- Event planning experience (online and
- person), ideally for youth or education audiences. - A creative mindset: the ability to turn digital content into engaging formats and experiences.
- Excellent written and spoken English (other European languages are an advantage).
- Based in the EU, with flexibility to travel occasionally for events.
- This position includes around 15% travel throughout the year.
