Job Summary

We have an immediate opening in the Accounts Payable department in Bucharest, Romania headquarters.

This position will report to the EMEA Finance Manager. The Staff Accountant – SAP plays an integral part in the general accounting, policy implementation and month end processes for our HSP EMEA Region companies. The position maintains and controls certain General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that include booking of daily transactions, performing analytical work and thorough review of financial records.

The ideal candidate will have firm knowledge of basic accounting principles, attention to detail, and strong initiative to identify opportunities for improvement as well as design and implement approved improvements. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a broad range of people with different backgrounds and perspectives, as well as the ability to comfortably work with people in other functions or external to the company (vendors and customers
