About the team
The Compliance Observability team develops high quality products and services that enables Stripe to understand its compliance state and take action to address compliance requirements within Stripe’s technology organization. The Compliance Observability team at Stripe will establish reusable patterns, practices and tools that enable Stripe’s engineering teams to understand and meet their compliance obligations. The team is a power user of platforms provided by Technology Compliance, Infrastructure, and Security groups and will work alongside our Compliance Platform and Compliance Applications teams.
What you’ll do
You will join one of the teams behind infrastructure platforms used by engineering, security, and business partners at Stripe. You will oversee the development of solutions that may be “from scratch”, built on top of
- house platforms, or leveraging 3rd party solutions. We expect that working along the team’s technical leaders, you will be able to ensure that your team builds software that best meets the needs of Stripe’s customers. We are a highly effective team, consistently delivering

Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for- person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
Working remotely at Stripe
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings,- sites,
- ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.
