ERM is looking for a motivated German-speaking Consultant to join its team in Romania and help our clients in some or all of the following areas, for example:

Biodiversityand
Ecological Services

Impact Assessment and
Permitting

Environmental and
Social Due Diligence

As a Consultant within the team, you will be expected to support the successful delivery of ERM proposals and projects in line with our vision, values and our strategic imperatives by:

Adhering to all ERM and client requirements, specifically those related to H&S and governance.

Applying client/sector knowledge when carrying out tasks associated with drafting project deliverables and or proposals.

Using ERM’s methodologies and technologies consistently in line with ERM and client expectations.

Contributing to successfully delivering small discrete tasks on projects and /or proposals

Ideal Candidate:

University degree/ Master of Science in Ecology / Biology or a related discipline;

Minimum of 3 years experience in environmental impact assessment and permitting projects

Knowledge and/or experience in the following areas is required: biodiversity and ecological services (both field work/ baseline data collection and desktop assessments based on national and international standards, e. g. EBRD, IFC). Ideally specialized in birds, bats and habitats. Familiar with Appropriate assessments, Birds & Habitats EU Directives, EBRD PR6/ IFC PS6.

Fluency in German and English is mandatory; fluency in other languages would be an advantage
