Our Finance related work include financial accounting: R2R, P2P, L2C and Treasury activities, planning & forecasting and commercial financial support. Your ‘day to day’ As a Financial Accountant you will:• Ensure & contribute together with Financial Accounting Team for the market adherence to PMI accounting policies and financial controls as well compliance with Romanian statutory accounting standards. • Ensure completeness and accuracy of statutory booking. Preparation of current/
- hoc reports and reconciliation within US GAAP & statutory accounts and perform necessary adjustments accordingly to ensure the completeness & accuracy of FS. Review documentation, obtain approval and provide corresponding
- up to ensure relevant information and processing on time corrections• Implementation of all changes in the local legislation in the current accounting system, together with the service center in Krakow and the Department of Taxes; actively participating in the implementation of the new accounting system and other current business projects that trigger changes in accounting flows. Collaboration with other departments (Purchasing, Marketing, Operations, SCE Krakow) to solve accounting problems that are not routine (changes in the treatment mode from an accounting point of view)• Participate in local statutory month end / year end closing including preparation of local financial statements and analysis of differences in various statutory & US GAAP accounts. • Be responsible for efficient, quality, and accurate financial reports & reconciliations submission, as per allocated tasks within the Financial Accounting Local Team. • Collaborate in planning and organizing the Legal Audit to ensure the efficient conduct of the procedure. Support to the statutory auditors by making available the timely information and explanations requested by them. • Effectively performing and reconciling the inventory fixed assets count according to the terms and conditions stipulated in the statutory and US GAAP policy. • Support remote service delivery and execution by coordinating and cooperating with the finance related service providers. • Participate in month closing activities connected to B2C and B2B channels. Ensure appropriate working instructions are provided to LSP and commercial team. • Respond to
- hoc financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting financial data. • Cooperate with other teams members in coordinating IBS services for the market. Provide advisory to stakeholders within organization informing them about relevant legislation changes and planned modification Who we’re looking for• University degree in Accounting, or related fields• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience • Thorough understanding of Romanian statutory Accounting Practice • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel• Working knowledge of SAP system will be considered as an advantage• Understanding of US GAAP will be considered as an advantage• Proficient in spoken and written English and Romanian languages• Good business acumen• Highly analytical and curious mindset with ability to sort through complex issues and sense for details• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Proactive approach and ability to work independently
