Job Summary: The Financial Analyst position is a valuable business partner, ensuring value and support the HSP global business entity. The role is responsible for the daily processes in the areas of financial accounting, compliance and reporting of all legal entities registered in the France, Benelux, UK, Nordics, South/DACH region. Sales business partnering is one if the key aspects of this role and the position will report into the Regional Finance Leader. The Financial Analyst will require interaction with
- functional department in addition to sales, marketing, controllership, COTA and GFC Bangalore.
YOU ARE
Adept at financial reporting and analytics - Defining reporting packages and dashboards (KPI's) to enable business management to continuously measure and optimize business performance in all key functional areas, producing reports that enable continuous measurement and optimization of all key aspects of the business and proactively identifying, communicating and reporting P&L and balance sheet exposure matters will be a focus for this role. You will also participate in the AOP/Forecast cycles.
Bring an operational mindset - Drive, review and back up for month close processes by ensuring the entity transactions are properly accounted for and correctly reported through HFM on a US GAAP basis, in accordance with Honeywell accounting policies. ; monthly accruals, timely preparation of Journal Vouchers, support Promenta bookings, determine and submit I/C recharges,
- up and drive resolution of any issues related to month close activities. Partnership with Controllership and COTA to ensure operational efficiencies and transparency and timing of financial results. Ensure accurate and Timely booking of all items in the P&L in conjunction with controllership. Ownership on all P&L variances vs LY and AOP. You understand any balance sheet exposures and ensure inclusion in forecasts and outlooks. You will calculate monthly accruals as required to ensure accurate financials, be responsible for cost center creation/updates and SEA updates and you will partner with Sales and Channel Marketing on the yearly rebate programs, responsible for the monitoring and payment of the rebates. Other accounting and finance duties where required; f. e. invoice coding in Dolphin, responsible in maintaining and updating the cost center hierarchy and liaise with COTA / Controllership / Regional and global Finance Centre will be additional components to the position.
Someone who is continuous improvement oriented - You will fulfill the daily activities (individuals or team activities), as well as the annual projects, according to the established performance level. You will be responsible for kaizen process for the team, contribute in an active way to the continuous improvement of department’s performance or company’s performance identifies constantly the opportunities of improvement for own activity and department’s activities (Kaizen ideas in accordance with the objectives of the company) and through coaching techniques, and you will participate in internal audit, third party, corporate, second party (clients, certification) efforts. You will perform GEMBA walks/5S audits/SOS audits/LSW audits, and identify nonconformities.
