The Formation Evaluation Engineer or Geocientist supports development through individual and teamwork. This level also requires the application of knowledge of materials, tools, processes, and products to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and to effect
- term and some
- term business goals. At this level, the employee must have a fundamental understanding of their work area and basic knowledge of products/applications upstream and downstream of their work area.

FE Geoscientist study the features on and under the surface of the earth including Geology, Geophysics and Geochemistry. Geoscience examines the processes that form and shape the earth over time, ecosystems, and natural resources such as water and hydrocarbons.

Coordinates expertise in one or more engineering and science disciplines across the technology project portfolio, assuring rigor is applied through the design and development processes. Ensures needed personnel skills and expertise are in place across the organization for the discipline.
