Frontend Engineering Manager (f/m/d)
Purpose of Position
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Frontend Platform Team.
Frontend Platform team is responsible for key
- wide functionality and products like authentication, system design, common frontend libraries or general frontend performance. The team works closely with frontend engineers, designers and product manager to make sure our web applications are built consistently across all teams.
You will be responsible for directly leading 4 software engineers, spread across UK, Romania and potentially other of our engineering hubs.
In this role you coach and mentor your team members, empower them to act autonomously, establish clear ownership and build strong knowledge centers. You are passionate about building
- performing teams and helping your team members grow. You own the delivery of commitments and are always looking to improve productivity. You coordinate across teams and departments as needed to accomplish goals, including, but not limited to, Product, Dev
Ops, UX, Info
Sec, and more.
You will foster a safe environment where decisions are delegated and can be communicated effectively. We don’t expect you to be
- on but we expect you to be technical. So you have a strong technical background in software building and you can help your team unblock delivery if necessary.
Key tasks:

Skill and Expertise:
- on experience with Java
Script/Type
Script, HTML, CSS.
- frontend architecture.
- term technical strategy, economic viability, interactions between components, compatibility issues, reuse by other systems or teams. You are able to understand, articulate and consider technical problems.
