About the client

A global civic platform that empowers people to take collective action on urgent social, political, and environmental issues. It enables individuals to launch and support campaigns, petitions, and advocacy efforts, often aimed at influencing
- makers and driving policy change. Known for its rapid response to world events, the platform connects voices across borders to address challenges such as climate change, human rights, and corruption.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications across frontend and backend.

Work with cloud infrastructure, multiple storage engines, and modern Dev
Ops practices.

Collaborate with
- functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based environments, and version control workflows.

Take ownership of features from concept to production, ensuring quality and performance.

Integrate and maintain payment systems (e. g. , Stripe, Pay
Pal).

Build and optimize messaging API integrations (e. g. , Twilio, Bird, Whats
App).

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record in shipping
- world products.

Strong fundamentals in computer science, system design, and
- solving.

Hands-on experience with Python, React, and modern
- stack development.

Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and various storage engines.

Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.

Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English (remote collaboration experience preferred).

Nice to Have

Experience integrating payment systems

Experience with messaging APIs
