A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Team Lead in our VAT Compliance team, you will be an important anchor to plan, coordinate and perform tasks across the VAT Compliance Operations, support your team members and colleagues with advice on complex VAT topics, and ensure the results meet internal and external requirements. You’ll collaborate with Finance, IT and external service providers, help interpret VAT regulatory changes, and prepare documentation and training materials.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead, steer, develop and motivate a dedicated team of VAT enthusiasts

Support, coordinate and lead the daily operations of the VAT team to ensure compliance with VAT regulations across multiple jurisdictions for German legal entities

Ensure timely and accurate execution of all VAT-related compliance tasks assigned to the team

Act as a VAT point of contact for
- functional teams (Finance, IT, external service providers)

Plan, organize and deliver internal VAT compliance trainings

Monitor regulatory changes and ensure alignment with internal processes

Represent the VAT function in
- functional discussions and projects ( Vi
DA, S4HANA, etc. )

What You Bring

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications in Accounting and/or Tax are a plus.

Several years of experience in VAT compliance or a related role, with a proven track record of managing VAT processes and reporting, ideally in a multinational environment

Your background already includes proven management expertise in team leadership.

In-depth knowledge of European VAT regulations and compliance requirements, with experience in VAT reporting.

Proficiency in SAP, particularly in finance and tax modules ( FI, SD, MM), along with a strong understanding of data management and analysis tools.

Excellent analytical and
- solving skills, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities and an excellent command of English

- oriented mindset with excellent coordination and communication skills
