Global Master Data Specialist
Job Description
Activities done 100% as per Intercompany Service Agreement signed with Carestream Dental Technology Topco Limited:
- Data entry in the IT systems as per Carestream Dental rules.
- Processing requests related to handling data for materials, customers, suppliers, and pricing for all countries where Carestream Dental has business operations.
- Point of contact for internal customers for master data requests
- Proposition and implementation of the simplifying initiatives related to data automation.
- Supporting other departments or teams on master data administration related to materials, customers, suppliers, and pricing changes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
A) RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS DESCRIPTION
- Ensures that the master data change requests are processed using appropriate informatics systems, as per the internal work instructions.
- Ensures that the change data requests are validated by the appropriate department.
- Is responsible for data conformity as per the requestors needs and alerts for any error in data entry.
- Acts as first level as escalation for signalling data errors and corrections.
- Offers quick solutions depending on the business impact making sure the incident is solved; Facilitates internal communication, being the interface between the impacted business departments.
- Provides reports related to Master Data activity to other departments as per the requests and needs.
- Creates and updates work instructions as per the existing processes and in accordance with the department activity.
- Participates at and ensures trainings periodically colleagues from other departments on Master Data activity.
- Collaborates with other departments whenever there is a master data impact due to changes from other business projects.
- Ensures the team comply with the company policies related to data administration.
- Participates to audit processes related to department’s activity, as per company’s requirements.
- Offers operational support as to reach the department goals at the right time.
- Monitors data quality acting to understand and check the root causes (the check is done through the monthly audit).
- Maintains a close relationship with the global data administration team and with master data requestors to reach the business targets.
- Makes sure the work instructions are up to date and all changes are processed only after validating them.
- Supports process changes within the department as project member.
- Recommends and supports organizational changes as well as other improvements initiatives.
- Communicates data entry rules and promotes data quality.
- Alerts on unsolved issues from his/ her area of responsibility.
- Is responsible for solving Master data incidents when defects are encountered.
- Is responsible for signalling the malfunction of Master Data systems and tools to other departments which can correct them.
- Offers operational support whenever the other team members are not available.
- Monitors requests volume and signals unusual situations to Direct Manager.
- Executes any other requests from the Direct Manger as to accomplish the business strategy and goals within the legal requirements of the law.
B) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensures a good communication with internal customers, company managers and with all employees and transmits correctly and in time the required information
- Has a polite attitude towards colleagues and any other persons with which he interacts in the company.
- Is responsible for data quality and supplying at the right time the needed information.

- Ensures data conformity versus the requirements and versus the internal company rules and corrects the data entry errors.
- Ensures that the work instructions are up to date and all changes are done after they have been validated.
c) Related to work safety and security.
- Respects Safety and security rules and PSI.
d) Related to internal rules / work instructions.
- Follows the general work instructions of the company (work schedule, punctuality in delivering the work reports etc. ).
- Follows the internal regulation as well as other global policies applicable to all employees (related to travel and expenses, using company assets, GDPR norms, confidentiality, conflict of interests, ethics).
- Respects the deadlines in alerting the incidents to Direct Manager.
- Keeps confidentiality of the data and information to which it has access.
2. PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Are established annually with the Direct Manager in performance evaluation reviews and periodically updated. They are referring to:
- SAP data conformity versus the requests and internal company rules.
- Requests processing time as per the agreed SLAs.
- Participates in continuous improvement projects.
It is established annually the career development plan in performance review sessions or in 1 on 1 sessions.

1. EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Batchelor degree or student in final year, preferably from economics university, foreign languages, or technical domain.
2. NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE:
- Databases knowledge
- Professional certifications in areas such as: customer relationship, international relationship, order management, supply change and logistics
- MS Office knowledge
- SAP knowledge, Clientele and Salesforce or any other ERP or CRM systems
- Foreign languages competencies: English – advanced level
3. OTHER PROFFESIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
SKILLS:
• Precision in data entry
• Perfect knowledge of SAP software solution, Master Data module and data entry and data analysis, preferably with 5 years of experience
• Preferably experience with Clientele and Salesforce or other CRM systems
