What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Generation: Develop and manage webinars,
- person events, and other marketing campaigns that attract and convert prospects. - Marketing Support: Collaborate with our founding team to organize podcasts, speaking engagements, and conference appearances.
- Website Management: Maintain and continuously refine our Word
Press site to articulate Cloud
Hero's unique value proposition. - Partner Campaigns: Work closely with our partners (e. g. , AWS) to create and execute
- branded marketing initiatives. - JTBD Interviews: Conduct periodic customer interviews using the Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) framework to clarify the main reasons customers hire us, the value we provide, and the persona we serve.
- Inbound Marketing Ownership: Identify opportunities to bring consistent value to our target audience through engaging content and innovative outreach strategies.
- Communication & Design: Leverage AI tools, graphic design solutions, and landing page builders (Canva, Chat
GPT, etc. ) to create compelling,
- brand marketing materials. - Project Organization: Use Basecamp or Jira to manage marketing projects and coordinate activities.
- CRM Management: Utilize Hub
Spot to maintain lead and customer records, ensuring a
- driven approach to nurturing relationships. - Third-Party Coordination: Oversee tasks outsourced to agencies, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Budgeting from Outcomes: Work backward from desired goals, preparing cost estimates and business cases—rather than strictly adhering to a preset budget.
- Revenue Accountability: Drive and measure marketing's contribution to revenue growth, our primary KPI.
Requirements
- A track record of generating measurable business results in marketing (with an emphasis on lead generation).
- Exceptional written communication skills and a flair for storytelling that resonates with technical and business audiences alike.
- High proficiency with essential marketing tools (Word
Press, Canva, Chat
GPT, Hub
Spot) and a willingness to learn new technologies. - Strong project management skills—comfortable organizing and delivering multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external agencies/partners.
- Strategic thinking: you can see the big picture and roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
