David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Head of Appearance for their Gaming studios in Bucharest, Romania.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations of the department to ensure all activities are carried out effectively and align with broader organizational goals.
- Monitor team performance and collaborate with leadership to address performance gaps through coaching, training, or corrective measures.
- Mentor junior managers and team leads to support their professional growth and help foster a
- oriented mindset. - Lead
- specific projects that align with company strategy, with a focus on maintaining quality standards and
- efficiency. - Drive initiatives that enhance the department’s contribution to the organization's overall brand and operational success.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize workflows to improve operational efficiency, including the implementation of digital tools and systems.
- Approve and implement new procedures that enhance productivity and departmental effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and usage trends, ensuring timely reporting and escalation of any critical issues to senior leadership.
- Use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decisions, evaluate initiatives, and communicate outcomes clearly.
- Manage the department’s budget, ensuring
- effective procurement and purchasing practices are in place. - Identify opportunities for savings and efficiency while maintaining service quality.
- Assist in vendor selection and contract negotiations to meet quality and cost objectives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and
- functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and minimize workflow disruptions. - Provide feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of interdepartmental processes and collaboration efforts.
- Ensure consistency and
- quality standards across all department outputs, aligning with company and industry expectations. - Approve new guidelines and ensure they are consistently applied across all teams and locations.
- Support the alignment of product or service presentation with overall branding and aesthetic goals.
- Support the setup and scaling of new operational sites or facilities by implementing departmental standards from inception.
- Contribute to planning efforts by applying expertise in resource planning, efficiency optimization, and team development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native/fluent in English (C1), both oral and written.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar leadership or senior management role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and lead
- functional projects. - Skilled in project management, team development, and effective communication.
- Experience in budget management and cost optimization.
- Proficient in data analysis and KPI reporting, with the ability to present findings visually (e. g. , Power
Point). - Strong understanding of inventory and stock management systems and processes.
- Background or interest in style, branding, or visual presentation is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience navigating complex, collaborative environments.
- Familiarity with visual trends in media, digital entertainment, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated success in team development and
- term talent planning.
