Job Title: HR Specialist
Job Location: Bucharest, Romania
Position Summary:
The HR Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the administration, coordination, and execution of human resources policies, programs, and procedures.
The role ensures alignment with company objectives and compliance with local labor laws, while supporting employees and managers across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support

- end recruitment process: job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offers. - Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
- Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues and escalating complex cases when necessary.
- HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems
- Support payroll inputs, benefits administration, and leave management.
- Suppliers & Vendor Management
- Act as a point of contact for HR suppliers (e. g. , payroll providers, benefits providers, recruitment agencies, training vendors).
- Monitor service delivery, escalate issues when needed, and ensure agreed service levels are met.
- Performance & Development
- Assist in coordinating performance appraisal processes and tracking employee objectives.
- Support implementation of learning and development initiatives.
- Compliance & Policies & Organizational climate building
- Ensure compliance with labor legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Participate in audits and reporting requirements as needed.
- Regularly organize birthday parties, celebration events, and other activities.
- HR Projects & Reporting
- Contribute to HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, diversity programs, and retention projects.
- Prepare regular HR reports and analytics for management.
- Other HR-related tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR (generalist or specialist role).
- Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office; HRIS/ATS knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Customer service orientation.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
