HVAC and Plumbing Engineering II
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated HVAC and Plumbing Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the design and development of HVAC and plumbing systems for various building types. You will have the opportunity to grow your technical skills while working on a variety of exciting and challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support HVAC and Plumbing Design: Assist in the planning and design of HVAC and plumbing systems for a range of buildings, including commercial and industrial facilities.
- Mechanical Calculations: Perform mechanical calculations for systems such as HVAC, sewage, cold/hot water, and firefighting under the supervision of senior engineers.
- 3D BIM Modeling: Support the creation and maintenance of 3D BIM models in Revit for MEP systems across various LOD stages.
- Technical Input: Provide technical assistance and input for studies and designs within the mechanical discipline.
- Interdisciplinary Review: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and comprehensive project designs.
- Quality Control Support: Assist in performing quality control reviews for mechanical designs and calculations.
- Technical Documentation: Help in preparing technical specification sections for HVAC and plumbing systems.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in building services engineering.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
- Knowledge of at least one engineering modeling/drafting software.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Revit MEP.
- Basic understanding of Common Data Environment platforms (e. g. , BIM 360, ACC).
- Exposure to clash detection software.
- Interest in BIM management and coordination.
