Work experience:

Minimum 5 years overall working experience in IT & Communication Engineering domain

Minimum 3 years of experience in Commissioning

We are looking for an Installation and Commissioning Engineer, Field Engineer Middle to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

Mission:

Perform installation and commissioning of IT & Communication equipment in internal/national and international assignments, including the related technical documentation.

Areas of impact:

Projects KPI reporting, delivery management, technical documentation processes, logistic support analysis, quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment installation execution, supervision, verification;
• Equipment commissioning and testing;
• Create and/or update and/or validate technical documentation, including technical chapters of tenders in both English and Romanian;
• Perform Level 1 corrective and preventive maintenance,
• Asses and Report the execution level;
• Handle the equipment in warehouses, on sites, during transportation;
• Verify IT / Communication equipment and prepares these for upper level integration;
• Perform acceptance tests for / with the Customer;
• Provides high level expertise on the Specialty area, in an interdisciplinary approach governing the total technical and managerial effort to support a solution throughout its life cycle;
• Participates in the definition, set up, institutionalization, supporting and maintenance ICT standards, process and deliverables;
• Define / manage the specific deliverables for the Specialty area, in accordance to the project life cycle or deployment / services organization’s needs;
• Travel within and outside the country (potentially>50% of working time);
• Behave in all circumstances as such to preserve and respect the company image;

Requirements:

Skills

• Proven experience in in IT / Communication technical domain with strong ICT technical background (e. g. Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication);
• Proven experience with standard SW tools (Windows family, MS Office, Visio, etc. );
• Experience with Electrical and networking installation
• Ability to easily communicate and interact with stakeholders (Chief Engineers, Project Managers, Work Package Managers etc. ) – the role is transversal and assumes communication with various customers and teams;
• Familiar with telecommunications sites (masts /towers, shelters, technical rooms and data centers)
• Good understanding of Networking protocols and standards
• Fluent in English, ideally basic German and French
