MissionThe Intercompany Accountant (m/f/d) is essential for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of intercompany transactions and accounts. This role involves meticulous management and reconciliation of intercompany activities, fostering collaboration across departments and international teams.

What your day will look like

Prepare, manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts across all group entities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Ensure accurate and timely recording of intercompany activities in accordance with the month and year end close timetable

Prepare intercompany invoices and payments ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and the group intercompany and transfer pricing policies

Coordinate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders ensuring intercompany transactions are identified and correctly recorded

Assist with the consolidation process, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations in preparation for
- end,
- end, and
- end financial reporting

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to intercompany activities

Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits, ensuring transparency in intercompany accounting and related processes

Maintain and update intercompany accounting policies and procedures

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and to strengthen internal controls and financial reporting

Identify opportunities to streamline and automate routine tasks related to intercompany accounting.

Participate in
- hoc projects or other tasks as required

What you need to fulfill the role

Experience (technical / leadership)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Several years of experience in intercompany accounting or a similar role

Functional expertise or method expertise

• Understanding of intercompany policies, transfer pricing, and international tax considerations

• Excellent analytical and organisational skills

• Strong attention to detail with a passion for financial accuracy

• Proactive and solution oriented 

• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations

• Experience with ERP systems (e. g. , Oracle, Net
Suite) and MS Office Suite
