Role Overview

As an IT Administrator at Creditexpress, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will manage in-house computer hardware, software systems, servers, storage devices, and network connections, while also contributing to the planning and implementation of IT policies and procedures. Your work will directly support business continuity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the company.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical background in IT or Cybernetics; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in IT administration within a mid-sized enterprise is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Solid understanding of PC hardware, operating systems, and networking (TCP/IP).
• General knowledge of antivirus tools, malware prevention, and system security practices.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and preventive approach.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities; able to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users at all organizational levels.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work in day shifts and travel occasionally outside Bucharest to support remote offices.
• Motivated to continuously learn, grow, and improve IT skills.
• Overall organized person both as mindset and everyday work habits.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for all employees, ensuring seamless business workflows and minimal downtime.
• Manage and maintain company infrastructure, including PCs/laptops, servers, networking equipment, NAS devices, and GSM modules.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems (Windows 11/10, Windows Server 2016/2019/2025), and business applications (MS Office suite).
• Monitor and maintain optimal performance parameters for IT systems, ensuring stability, reliability, and data security.
• Handle networking tasks such as cabling, VPN configuration, and Wi-Fi management.
• Coordinate with external IT service providers and vendors to resolve escalated issues.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to management regarding IT workflows, incidents, and improvements.
• Support end-users with hardware/software issues, ensuring productivity at all business levels.
