At WEICON, we develop, produce, and distribute chemical specialty products for all areas of industry. These include specialty adhesives and sealants, technical sprays,
- performance assembly pastes, and greases for production, repair, maintenance, and servicing. In addition to our chemical products, we also design and manufacture
- quality wire stripping tools – 100% made in Germany.

You are responsible for

Development and implementation of REST APIs for our system landscape

Design and implementation of EDI interfaces according to the EDIFACT standard

Administration and development of our middleware solution Lobster

Creation and optimization of views based on MS SQL

Support and further development of our
- code platform engomo

Close collaboration with other departments for requirements analysis

Documentation of developed solutions and interfaces

Troubleshooting and support for
- related issues

Your profile

Completed vocational training or university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification

Experience in developing REST APIs and web services

Knowledge of EDI standards, especially EDIFACT

Experience with middleware solutions, ideally Lobster

Solid MS SQL skills for creating views and database queries

Ideally, experience with
- code platforms, preferably engomo

Fluent in English, German skills are a plus but not required

Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working

Team player with excellent communication skills
