We are looking for an IT OPS Engineer to join our partner's IT operations team. The IT OPS Engineer is responsible for ensuring production stability throughout the entire project lifecycle. Acting as a key stakeholder in integrating production requirements, the role contributes to the definition of technical solutions and oversees their implementation.

Mission
As part of a Cloud migration project, your responsibilities will include:

• Migrating external Windows software (e. g. , SAS, Qlik, BO) and. NET applications to the cloud in close collaboration with infrastructure teams.

• Contributing to the definition of migration standards and best practices for cloud adoption.

• Promoting the use of existing services to reduce implementation costs and delivery timelines.

• Favoring reusable solutions where new developments are required.

• Anticipating compliance, architecture standards, and cybersecurity considerations in technical designs.

• Implementing technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring proper logging, monitoring, and alerting in production together with the SRE team.
• Provisioning infrastructure resources such as environments, databases, middleware, certificates, and network flows.
• Conducting technical tests (e. g. , performance, recovery) before production releases.

• Preparing and maintaining required documentation prior to
  - live.

• Managing change, incident, and problem processes within the application scope.

• Establishing ICPlans and DRPs with application owners.

• Supporting continuous improvement by proposing process optimizations and promoting best practices.

Requirements

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (RHEL, Windows), application servers (Apache/Tomcat, Web
  Sphere Application Server, JBoss), and technical components (CFT, MQ Series, Oracle, Postgre
  SQL, Micro
  Focus,

  F5, etc. ).
• Familiarity with industrialization and automation tools: scheduling (Autosys), configuration and deployment (Jenkins, Git, Ansible Tower, etc. ).
• Certification in a major cloud ecosystem (minimum Bronze level or equivalent).

• Expertise in deploying Windows software (e. g. , SAS, BO, Qlik).

• Proven experience in application deployment and migration to cloud environments.
• Strong experience in defining technical architecture for complete solutions.
• Expertise in application migration to new infrastructures and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience in analyzing technical incidents: Java logs,
  - party connection issues, firewall opening problems.

• Strong skills in performance analysis and optimization.

• Knowledge of Java development and frameworks is a plus.
