A Snapshot of Your Day

As an IT Security Specialist for HR systems you will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and compliance of the HR applications managed within the HRSO organization. Your role focuses on access control, secure configuration, vulnerability management, incident response, and supporting audits. As a specialist, you will closely collaborate with the IT Application Manager, the CYS team, IT compliance, and the business teams to align the HR systems security with the company policies and regulatory requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact

Identity and Access Management

Design, implement best solutions to manage users and roles and access for HR systems

Define the best authorization practices (OAuth,
- pair, SSO) for HR systems

Review and approve privileged access assignments and regularly audit user entitlements

Data Security

Ensure sensitive data stored in HR systems is encrypted and security is enhanced

Ensure that the data encryption best practices are as followed

Manage and review security settings for APIs, integrations, and
- party connectors

Vulnerability Management & Incident Response

Monitor HR systems for vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts.

Respond to and investigate security incidents related to HR systems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

Maintain incident response playbooks and ensure timely escalation and reporting.

Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure HR platform compliance with relevant regulations (, GDPR) and internal security standards.

Support internal and external audits by providing evidence of security controls and remediation actions.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes, incidents, and changes.

Security Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor usage of HR systems to meet organization’s audit and compliance requirements.

Generate and review security reports, including access reviews, audit logs, and incident summaries.

Collaborate with SOC or security monitoring teams for continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with IT, compliance, and business teams to understand requirements and drive secure HR systems adoption.

Provide security guidance during HR systems development, customization, and integration projects.

Stay current with HR systems security features, patches, and best practice

What You Bring

University degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

3+ years in IT security activities, security administration or engineering, involving data protection, encryptions, roles & access controls, API security and secured integration practices,

Experience on system security incident investigation and remediation, security monitoring, logging, and reporting tools.

Experience supporting audits and implementing remediation plans.

Analytical mindset: strong
- solving and root cause analysis skills

Proactive approach: anticipates security risks and implements preventive measures

Fluency in English is required
