We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for PC hardware and software issues. This role will focus on performing hardware repairs, supporting OS migrations, reimaging systems, and maintaining end-user devices in accordance with standard IT policies and procedures. The successful candidate will ensure timely and effective resolution of IT incidents and requests to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• PC Hardware Repair (Break-Fix Support):
• Diagnose and repair PC hardware issues through an advanced exchange support model. Coordinate with HP for any necessary replacement hardware purchases.
• Operating System (OS) Migrations:
• Support and execute OS upgrades, installations, and migrations in line with enterprise standards and project timelines.
• System Reimaging:
• Reimage devices using standard program images to ensure compliance with company configurations and security baselines.
• Software Break-Fix Support:
• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, ensuring all applications function as intended.
• Accessory Distribution & Installation:
• Install, replace, and configure accessories and supplies, including but not limited to keyboards, mice, memory upgrades, hard drives, LAN cables, and power cords.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including hardware replacements, software fixes, and imaging tasks.
• Customer Service:
• Provide professional, courteous, and timely support to end users, ensuring high satisfaction and minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and imaging tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT support processes and ticketing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar certifications preferred.
