Job Responsibilities:

Upgrade existing Java applications from Spring 3 to Spring 4. 3;

Refactor and convert legacy applications to Spring Boot;

Ensure applications are deployable on Web
Sphere Application Server;

Prepare and test Spring Boot applications for containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes;

Provide
- level support during the deployment on Kubernetes (infrastructure handled by the client);

Collaborate with the client's engineering and Dev
Ops teams;

Follow the client's base images and Dockerfile standards for containerization.

Job Requirements

Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring 3. 0 and 4. 0);

Proven experience in Spring Boot application development and deployment;

Familiarity with Web
Sphere Application Server (WAS) and deployment processes;

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production or migration contexts;

Good understanding of microservices architecture and CI/CD practices;

Comfortable working with WAR/EAR packaging and legacy systems;

Ability to troubleshoot and support containerized applications in Kubernetes.
